Born and raised in the sunny deserts of Tucson, Arizona, my name is Nick Cracchiolo and I am a Computer Engineering major at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. I graduated from Salpointe Catholic High School in 2014 participating in Varsity Volleyball and National Honor Society. Looking forward to my graduation from Cal Poly in 2018, I am seeking to find new learning opportunities regarding my passions for finding and solving software issues that plague new programs.
I took the initiative to learn iOS App Development as a senior in high school and have continued to teach myself new skills with every new app I create. Since 2014, I have released two games to the App Store and am planning on releasing a third aimed at managing and calculating grades for college and high school students alike. My first game revolved around learning the basics of SpriteKit and Objective-C. Next, I created a new game in order to learn Swift and UIKit as well as furthering my knowledge of SpriteKit. My most recent app is directed at solving the issue of teachers and professors not entering grades online for students while it has taught me to utilize Core Data to store and manage user data.
